I awaken to the brook, check my energetic surroundings and muse in the space between worlds. Stillness permeates my being and I contemplate the chill outside the sleeping bag. I don my riding gear and emerge from the tent a new day forming amidst the glow coming over the mountain that blocks the sun’s rays from reaching me. It will come soon and I proceed to take down my camp while breakfast and tea prepare on the stove. It is a good day and I am radiant with the light of my being, each breathe taking in the prana from this place.
A text comes through from my sweeter and I smile as she perfectly describes my camp. I take a moment to marvel at how strong our telepathy has become and my heart fills with Joy. I try to start the bike and am slightly surprised when it wouldn’t. I remember that I had put in a heavy weight oil and likely the oil pan just needed additional heat to get things going so I put my campstove under the heavy engine guard. Yup, that does it and the engine finally fires to life, purring catlike with pleasure. Today the GPS shows about 450 miles to Boise and I planned to camp 80 miles outside of the city, but I recognize I truly need to get there that night. Happy I depart and enjoy the fresh tarmac again back to the main highway.
I had never given much thought to Nevada, but the NE corner of the state is truly remarkable, reminding me of Wyoming a little bit. High desert valleys with peaks on either side, sage and seemingly barren, but beautiful in its grandeur. Hours go by without seeing many cars today and I pass some interesting sites. The Pony Express Route a pleasant surprise as I stop for a rest .
It was another long day in the saddle and I used the time to meditate and mantra, speaking affirmations aloud in my helmet. This brings a peace and higher consciousness to my being and the practice is soothing to my soul. I choose what to do with my thoughts and I wish to create peace with them, so rather than let them roam free at the beginning of the day, several hours of the mantras bring my being into alignment. There is nothing else to do but ride and mantra… enjoy the scenery, shift my butt in the saddle every once and awhile and enjoy the Long Ride.
There were so many cool canyons with the twisties that I have come to Love, seeking the perfect synchronicity of speed and line through the turns. Here too is the moving meditation providing an access to the flow of the Universe. I Love riding! I felt the day before, the miles and hours catching up to me I pull over in Riddle, NV or ID not sure which, and ran into two guys from Centralia, WA. I used to work around there so we chatted a bit and I could tell by the way I spoke I needed a rest. There was a lovely patch of grass with trees and shade so I took my boots off and laid down in the grass. 15 minutes in the shade can do wonders and the rest of the day was more pleasant for it, I’m sure.
I begin to prepare for what’s ahead in Boise… healing work and a Power Animal Journey. My meditation shifts to building my energy for the upcoming tasks. I rode through such high prana environments that it was pretty easy to fill my well to overflowing; so important before going into session work. By the time I arrived in Boise it was just getting dark and I was ready to be off the bike. We had dinner at a wonderful eclectic pizza place and I related the days journey to my friend and client. We spoke of the work and I described my experiences as we prepared for tomorrows work.
We had a Peaceful evening and I retired weary and ready for sleep. As I was drifting off I could see where I needed to go for Soul Pieces in the morning and I directed my last thoughts to my nourishment. Deeply I slept…
